Why should your students create an ePortfolio? As a teacher, using ePortfolios in your classroom can have many benefits. It can serve as a way to showcase your students' academic achievements and skills. It can be a place where your students can organize all of their projects creatively and visually. It allows easy access for them to share and display files and projects.
Using an ePortfolio in the classroom can be so beneficial for your students. It allows your students to have ownership over their learning. They can reflect on their learning journey, assess their progress, and find areas that they need to improve on. Doing this will allow them to see their strengths and weaknesses. This will also encourage critical thinking, reflection, and self-assessment which is important for making meaningful connections to your learning. I have recently created my own ePortfolio which you are reading now. I can see how much more in-depth my learning has become. I would challenge you to create one for your own benefit. I am excited about the opportunity for my students to create an ePortfolio in class that they can add to and utilize possibly later in the future.
