Innovation Plan -5305
Enhancing Education Through ePortfolios

This innovation plan will provide strategies for using technology to improve student engagement and create meaningful learning experiences. Please take a look at the following links to gain insight into my innovation plan of using ePortfolios to enhance learning!

What if there was a way to teach students how to organize files and content? A project that students could build on, an authentic assessment that can be taken with them and used as a digital showcase of all the brilliant content they have created in their career pathway? There is a solution! A way where students can have "Choice, Ownership, and Voice through an Authentic Learning tool" COVA. Take a look at my Innovation Propsal below to find out more!

In the literature review linked below, I show support for my vision of enhancing education through the use of e-Portfolios. This will help me share what I have learned about using ePortfolios as an authentic assessment of students' learning.

Pile of Books

Implementing e-Portfolios through out various programs will require planning and preparation. I have attached a list of future readings. Please join me in learning new innovative ways to engage students in 21st-century technology.

Reading Books Makes You Better

ePortfolios have significant potential in educational classrooms. Using them can enhance student engagement, foster reflective feedback, promote authentic assessment, support career development, and prepare them with essential skills needed for their future. By using ePortfolios in the classroom, educators can also empower students to take ownership of their learning journey, engage in critical thinking, enhance digital literacy, and prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. By considering the benefits of ePortfolios and addressing potential challenges, educators can create effective learning environments that prepare students for a highly successful future.
