Concepts of Educational Technology - 5302
Exploring the Learning

In this Program, Applied Digital Learning, I have explored many concepts of learning. The concepts of a growth mindset, failing forward strategies, and the COVA learning approach have significantly enhanced my learning experience. I have a postive growth mindset that has encouraged persistence and motivation, inspiring me to embrace challenges and see failures as opportunities to grow. Failing forward strategies allow me to build on this by encouraging experimentation, risk-taking, and the takeaway of valuable lessons from setbacks. The COVA approach, which emphasizes choice, ownership, voice, and authentic learning experiences, aligns perfectly with the applied digital learning concept. It has empowered me to create projects that resonate with my interests and career goals while taking control of my learning journey. It has helped shape my innovative plan and has helped me become more open-minded about the learning process. This approach also has encouraged me to apply my knowledge and skills, making learning more relevant to me. My ePortfolio is a collective learning platform that has offered an invaluable opportunity for me to capture my progress and projects over time, foster my growth, and help me become a better educator. I have taken a sense of ownership in creating it. When I look back on my learning, I find that I have changed my outlook on learning in many ways. Please join me as I explore my learning journey in the links below.

My Growth Mindset Plan allows learners to create personalized strategies for nurturing and maintaining a growth mindset, which is crucial in the ever-evolving digital technology world. This plan involves setting goals, tracking progress, and reflecting on failures as opportunities for personal development.

My Learning Manifesto serves as a guiding statement of principles and values that highlight the importance of continuous learning, experimentation, and adaptation within my digital learning journey. Through my experience in educational technology and learning new things along the way, I have transformed my view on education and am passionate about continuing my growth as an educator and as a learner.

Having a supportive Learning Network, composed of peers, mentors, and resources, provides me with the support, feedback, and collaborative opportunities needed to excel in this digital learning program. These network facilitates the sharing of experiences and failures, encouraging collective learning and the real application of knowledge. Without the support of learning networks, education would not excel and continue to emerge.
